Two very slight tears to margin edges of the sheet well away from the image. Some browning to the very edges of the sheet. Generally in very good condition with image excellent.
Titled in pencil ‘Europa’ bottom left of the sheet and signed and numbered 33/150 bottom right

There is tremendous movement and energy in this magnificent large engraving, as Zeus in the guise of a bull takes to the sea with the absconded Europa upon his back as seabirds soar and swoop around them.
