Condition: Image surface excellent. Very slight incision, well outside the image area, to top left corner of margin due to previous tape to mount. Overall very good original condition.
As exhibited in the exhibition – ‘French Symbolist Painters’ at the Hayward Gallery, London, and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, in 1972. Also reproduced in the book on Symbolist painters of the 1890s ‘Dreamers of Decadence’ by Phillipe Jullian.
