Paula says about these works:

“Unfulfilled, Kama Sutra and The Eyes were all published in 1986 in the Norwegian magazine, Cupido, to illustrate a portion of my autobiography. The story covered my early experiences – the frustrations of my early twenties when I was unable to release myself (Unfulfilled), a brief moment of liberation when I appeared naked onstage in Hair (Kama Sutra), and then an amalgamation of images related to the atmosphere of Hair and performing sex in front of an audience. I called this The Eyes because it expressed the elation I felt when I was able to overcome the fear of my mum’s disapproval. I had always imagined the disgust on her face as she observed me in an erotic scene. Now, in hindsight, I would say that I was actually overcoming the strong disapproval in myself!”
