Image surface excellent. Some time toning to edges of margins, well outside the image area. Generally in very good condition.

By no means a regular Symbolist in his subject matter, Sir Charles Holroyd did nevertheless sometimes enter into the Symbolist territory in his romantic, mythologically based subjects. This superb arcadian image from 1905 is such a work.
